Rachel Stephan started in education in 2003 and taught fourth through twelfth grades before transitioning to California Virtual Academies in 2006 as a kindergarten through eighth grade teacher. She moved into school leadership in 2010. After spending two years incorporating instructional coaching into her school leadership role, Rachel and her teammate, Kat, started instructional coaching full time in 2018 and began supporting a school-wide team of instructional coaches in 2019. They also provide professional development and coaching to school leaders.
