Melissa Terrano is a dedicated educator and Marketing Director at the Instructional Coaching Group (ICG), where she combines her classroom experience with a passion for connecting educators to meaningful professional learning. Her work is grounded in a commitment to student growth, confidence, and impactful learning experiences.
With 14 years of experience across private, public, homeschool, and charter school settings, Melissa has developed expertise in meeting the needs of diverse learners and designing responsive, student-centered instruction. She earned her degree from the University of Southern California and holds a Master’s in Literacy from California State University, San Marcos, and a Master’s in School Administration from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
While her foundation is in literacy, Melissa also specializes in mathematics instruction and targeted intervention. Her students consistently demonstrated strong academic growth on End-of-Grade (EOG) assessments, placing her in the top 25% in North Carolina for math growth. She also has extensive experience supporting multilingual learners in building both skills and confidence.
At ICG, Melissa draws on her educational background to ensure marketing and communication are authentic, relevant, and grounded in the real needs of educators. She is deeply aligned with ICG’s mission of promoting excellence in education and helping individuals become their best selves.
