Dr. Alison Gordon

Alison has been an educator her entire career, starting out as an elementary education teacher and then working as both teacher and administrator in private schools and public-school districts in Northern California and the Northern suburbs of Chicago. Upon retirement as a principal and district leader from Skokie, Illinois School District 73 ½, Alison continued her work at Northwestern University, teaching graduate students in the Teacher Leadership Program and facilitating the work of the Educational Coaching Network (ECN).  Alison remains involved in ECN, staying closely in touch with the work of Jim Knight and ICG, and supervises graduate students in their internships, working toward their administrative certification at National Louis University.
