A Conference for Research on Coaching
Written by Matt Kelly.

Instructional Coaching Group is proud to partner with the University of Kansas Center for Research on Learning to host the first annual Conference for Research on Coaching on October 5th!

We believe that being inspired, challenged, and engaged by others is essential to growth and progress. Don’t miss this opportunity to spend the day networking with researchers working in the field of coaching in education, learning about the impact of their work, and presenting your own research. This event is free of charge, and we encourage anyone researching coaching in education to attend and apply to present.

Abstracts will be reviewed by 3 experts in the area of coaching in education, and the first 30 to be accepted will receive a five-minute slot at the conference to present their research. To be considered, please submit your proposals and answer a few short questions via this survey.

  1. Michelle A. Haag

I will be in the U.S. this fall and would love to represent the Universal American School Dubai Instructional Coaches at this first Research Conference. We developed an Action Research Cohort culminating in a colloquium and Journal this year. We would like to present the work we did as action researchers reporting on the success of our own program

Thanks so much for your interest! Your research sounds fascinating, and our coaching experts would be happy to review it. To be considered to present at the conference, please follow this link and complete the survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/Z9WN7L8

Would love to be a part of this.

Everyone who has already submitted a proposal will receive an email from ICG before the end of this weekend. And for those who have not yet submitted a proposal, we are still accepting submissions, so please feel free to submit through this survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/Z9WN7L8

Thanks again, and we look forward to hearing about your research!

  5. Scott Corgatelli

I work with the Idaho Coaching Network (a state sponsored program of ELA/Literacy Coaches), and I would like to attend. I am not in the process of researching, but would like to hear about the work that is being done throughout the world into the effectiveness of coaching. Is this possible?
