Dr. Bill Sommers

William A. Sommers, PhD, of Austin, Texas, continues to be a learner, former teacher and principal, author, leadership coach, and consultant. Bill has come out of retirement multiple times to put theory into practice as a principal. He is the Director of SCC for Educators and is the co-founder of www.learningomnivores.com.

Dr. Sommers continues to coach school and district leaders, as he has done for over 35 years. In addition to serving on graduate faculties at several universities, Dr. Sommers he has been a program director for an adolescent chemical dependency treatment center and on the advisory board of a halfway house for 20 years. Currently Bill is on the boards of Stevie Ray’s Improv Group and Lian Dante Foundation for Social Justice.
