Fall Series Session 2 – Video for Growth: Leveraging Reflection in Coaching and Teaching 

Session Description 

Video creates opportunities for educators to slow down, notice what matters, and reflect on practice in meaningful ways. In this session, participants will explore how teachers can use video independently or with an instructional coach while learning practical strategies for incorporating video into coaching cycles and reflective conversations.

How can teachers and instructional coaches use video to strengthen reflection and professional growth? 

Outcomes 

Participants will:

• Explore practical ways teachers can use video to reflect on and strengthen classroom practice. 
• Learn how instructional coaches can leverage video, observation forms, and reflection protocols throughout coaching cycles.
