Hourly Schedule

Day 1

Overview of 7 Success Factors and Better Conversations
Participants explore the seven factors that make instructional coaching effective, from a partnership mindset to system-level support. The day then focuses on communication, introducing practical habits for listening, asking good questions, and building the trust that makes coaching conversations productive.

Day 2

The Impact Cycle part 1
This session introduces the Impact Cycle, a structured process coaches use to help teachers set and reach meaningful goals. Participants practice the Identify stage: getting a clear picture of current reality in the classroom, setting a student-focused goal, and choosing a teaching strategy to reach it.

Day 3

The Impact Cycle part 2
Participants complete the Impact Cycle by learning how to explain and model strategies, then monitor progress and adjust until the goal is met.
The Instructional Playbook
The day concludes with the Instructional Playbook, a concise guide to high-impact teaching strategies that helps coaches share clear, consistent guidance with teachers.

Day 4

Data Rules
This session shows coaches how to gather and use data that keeps coaching focused on student outcomes. Participants practice collecting reliable measures of engagement and achievement, and learn how to use that data to set goals, track progress, and guide next steps with teachers.

Day 5

Teaching Strategies
The final day centers on the high-impact teaching strategies coaches will share with teachers. Participants deepen their understanding of key strategies, practice explaining and modeling them clearly, and leave ready to support teachers in putting them into action.
