Whether in the role of administrator, coach, or teacher leader, intentionally focusing on instructional leadership will benefit student learning. Three elements of successful instructional leadership are listening to those you serve, learning evidence-based practices, and then intentionally leading sustainable instructional growth. This session will dive into each of these elements, discussing what each means for the instructional leader and sharing ways to advance student learning utilizing each element. Sherry will share strategies from her extensive coaching work, Coaching Redefined and from her forthcoming book. Participants will leave with tools and strategies to immediately use in their daily walk as an instructional leader.
