Originally from Chicago, Tim came to Boston on a basketball scholarship and earned both a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Education in Learning and Instruction from Northeastern University. With a deep passion for instructional coaching and student-centered learning, they have dedicated their career to enhancing physical education instruction and supporting educators in fostering engaging, inclusive, and impactful learning experiences.
As a High School Physical Education Instructional Coach for Boston Public Schools, Tim works closely with PE teachers to implement evidence-based instructional strategies, design curriculum-aligned lessons, and drive student engagement. Their expertise spans instructional coaching, differentiated instruction, special education support, and behavior management. Throughout their career, they have held various roles in K-12 education, including physical education teacher, special education teacher, and paraprofessional, bringing a wealth of experience to their coaching practice.
Beyond the classroom, Tim is actively involved in professional learning communities, regularly participating in Instructional Coaching Group meet-ups and implementing Dr. Jim Knightâs Impact Cycle to support teacher growth. A dedicated advocate for health and wellness initiatives, they have coached youth basketball for over a decade, mentoring athletes and promoting lifelong fitness habits.
