Dr. Robert Biswas-Diener

Dr. Robert Biswas-Diener is a researcher, author, and consultant with 75 peer-reviewed academic articles on topics as wide ranging as well-being, friendship, hospitality, and leadership. Before co-authoring Radical Listening, his previous books include Positive Provocation (2023) The Upside of Your Dark Side (New York Times Bestseller, 2014), and the 2007 PROSE Award winner, Happiness. He has presented to Lululemon, Deloitte, Humana, AARP, and the World Bank, among others. Robert has especially loved working with educators and has conducted training in public and private schools in British Columbia, Florida, Washington, Oregon, and all over Australia. He has worked with the Bastow Institute and the Australian Council for Educational Leaders. In 2024, Thinkers50 named Robert one of the “50 Most Influential Executive Coaches in the World.” He lives in Portland, Oregon, where he enjoys drawing and rock climbing.
