Welcome!

In today’s newsletter, we feature our upcoming 8-Week virtual workshop: Introduction to Instructional Coaching. Also, Sherry St. Clair sits down with Jim Knight for a new episode of the Coaching Conversations Podcast.

In our free resource section, we’ve included a tool for coaches to use as they reflect on their conversations with colleagues to deepen their connection and identify areas for growth.

If you haven’t already, be sure to check out our asynchronous course, Better Conversations. This course is truly a valuable resource for all professionals in that it helps provide insight into where conversations may be going wrong, and ways in which you can foster more productive conversations.

Are you attending the Coaching in Education Conference from Growth Coaching International? Jim Knight will be a Keynote Speaker at the event this year. Be sure to see the details about the event and how to register in our International Events section below.

We’re grateful for your commitment to improving education and we’re here to support you every step of the way. If there’s anything you’d like to see in our newsletter or if you have a story to share, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

A Tool for Reflecting on Better Conversations

We know how hard you work to improve your coaching practice and we hear it all the time about how coaches everywhere are looking for a tool to reflect on their conversations. One of the biggest areas for growth for so many coaches is around Belief #4 from Better Conversations: “I don’t judge my conversation partners.”

This week, we are sharing this simple scaling tool to help gauge the alignment you currently possess between your beliefs and your actions.

Coaches can add this tool to their daily or weekly reflection to identify clear goals and habits for cultivating better conversations.
