Amy Musante

Amy Musante is a Senior Consultant at ICG and at the heart of her work is a belief in relationships and a passion for helping diversified school communities move into action around coaching to benefit each of their students. Amy is an accomplished presenter, having partnered with teachers, leaders, and systems throughout the United States and internationally in both the public and the private sector on many topics incuding teaching, learning, and coaching.  She spent 18 years in schools in Oregon as a Secondary English Language Arts teacher, Instructional Coach, and Secondary Schools Intervention Specialist and five years in New York working in K-12 systems to support instructional coaching program development UPK- 12.  Her years as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, trainer of instructional coaches and district facilitator for coaching program development,  provided her with a multi-tiered perspective of the instructional coaching process.  Amy stays connected to state initiatives around literacy and K-12 community college relations by serving as a panelist and volunteering for the Board for SUNY Adirondack Power in Partnership Symposium.  She received her MA from Teachers College, Columbia University and has done considerable work in continued partnership with the University with a focus on literacy at the secondary level. In her free time Amy loves spending time in nature, with her family and cheering on Buffalo sports teams!
